Armed robbery allegedly occurred in front of Green Creek Dollar General

GREEN CREEK—The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding an alleged armed robbery that occurred in front of the Green Creek Dollar General Saturday night. 

Sheriff’s office officials said deputies were dispatched around 9:30 p.m., Saturday,  Sept. 22 to an alleged armed robbery along Highway 9 South in front of the store. 

Officers were told by the victim that two white males, driving a small 1990s model single cab pick up truck showed a weapon and took a large amount of cash, according to sheriff’s office reports. 

The truck is gray in color and included an “S” and “F” on the tag, according to sheriff reports.
