May 12-18 is National Police Week. To show appreciation for law enforcement and to thank local officers for their hard work, Steps to HOPE made and delivered gift baskets to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Police Departments in Columbus, Landrum, Saluda and Tryon. The gift baskets included drinks, snacks and other goodies along with a card thanking all officers for their service.   

 

Steps to HOPE provides help and hope to those who find themselves in terrible domestic situations. Our police officers are often the first to intervene in a domestic dispute and many times bring in or send victims who need our services. We are very grateful for their care and commitment to the citizens in our area.
