In Polk County Superior Court on Oct. 1, 2018, with Judge Robert G. Horne presiding, 10 cases were heard. Some cases were continued or dismissed.
The following were convicted of a crime:
Josiah V. Johnson was convicted of three counts of obtaining property under false pretenses and felony worthless check. Johnson was sentenced to 16-38 months in prison.
In Polk County Superior Court Administrative Session on Oct. 10, 2018, with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 137 cases were heard. Some cases were continued or dismissed.
The following were convicted of a crime:
Austin Nicholas Barns was convicted of a felony probation violation. Barns was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 139 days credit, then probation terminated.
Angela Michelle Belue was convicted of felony probation violation. Belue was sentenced to 90 days in jail, then probation terminated.
Billy Lawrence Carr was convicted of felony probation violation. Carr was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 156 days credit, then probation terminated.
Daniel Badger Franklin was convicted of felony probation violation. Franklin’s probation was terminated unsuccessfully.
Parrish Keyon Gary was convicted of failure to comply with monies. Gary’s probation was terminated.
William Leland Henderson was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Henderson’s probation was terminated.
Philip Brian Hicks was convicted of felony probation violation and habitual felon. Hicks’ probation was revoked with 205 days credit.
Phillip Brian Hicks was convicted of attempted breaking and entering. Hicks was sentenced to 38-58 months in prison with 209 days credit.
Cobi L. Inboden was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Inboden was sentenced to one-year unsupervised probation, a $150 fine and court costs.
Tremayne Kayshawn Sutton was convicted of obtaining property under false pretenses. Sutton was sentenced to five-years supervised probation, $23,715 in restitution and court costs.
Robin Warren Thompson was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Thompson was sentenced to one year supervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.
Casey Brandon Upton was convicted of felony probation violation out of county. Upton was sentenced to 72 hours in jail, then probation terminated.
Brandon Joseph Vick was convicted of delegated authority. Vick was sentenced to 29 days in jail, then probation terminated.
