Adrienne Bailey Wallace recently joined the board of directors at Steps to HOPE.
A native of Tennessee, Wallace came to North Carolina at the age of 10 and has called it home ever since. She is a graduate of North Carolina State University and spent 15 years as a North Carolina State park ranger and superintendent.
In 2014, Wallace joined the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division as the detective assigned to investigating domestic violence cases. She is a credentialed advocate through the National Organization for Victim Assistance, with the designation of comprehensive victim intervention specialist. Adrienne is a member of NCCADV, NCCASA and NCVAN.
Wallace is excited to carry over her on-going experience as a domestic violence investigator and advocate to her role as a board member for Steps to Hope, she said. She believes that every survivor’s story is unique, and that the healing and support we provide must be thoughtfully shaped to meet their needs and in their own time.
Wallace spends her free time with her husband and son camping, gardening and enjoying the outdoors.
