FENCE to host fall festival Oct. 7

The Foothills Equestrian Nature Center in Tryon is hosting a Fall Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7.
The family-friendly event will include activities for all ages, as well as free food.
Activities include live music with The Moon & You and Lynn Goldsmith & The Jeter Mountain Band, live animal encounters, face painting, nature activities, a puppet show, and art demonstrations.
The event is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation.
