- While all of the students have worked hard this week learning lines and preparing for Saturday, they have had fun and created friendships in the meantime.
At 10 a.m. on Saturday, local students will take the stage together as a part of the annual Tryon Fine Arts Center and Tryon Little Theater summer camp, where they will present a free performance of “A Mixed-Up Fairy Tale” at TFAC. On Monday morning, students were handed a script of “A Mixed-Up Fairy Tale” and were tasked with working hard to have everything performance-ready by Saturday’s presentation at the Tryon Fine Arts Center.
The students involved have worked hard this past week to create this production of “A Mixed-Up Fairy Tale” open to the public at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Executive Director of Tryon Fine Arts Center Marianne Carruth is directing the play, helping the children fit into their roles and work together on stage.
Tryon Little Theater’s Jody McPherson, along with camp staff, have handled the many technical needs and set design, such as the storybook pictured.
