Scholarships of $250 each were recently awarded to  Abigail Doerr, of Landrum, and Lillian Nelson, of Polk County, from the Gary Page scholarship fund. Tryon Painters and Sculptors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit gallery, and is also supported by the Mary F. Kessler Fund, and the Polk County Community Foundation, along with donations from patrons of the arts in the area.
