From Nov. 15 – Dec. 15, Columbus’ police officers, including Chief Chris Beddingfield, above, looked a little scraggly but it was for a good cause. Officers participated in “No Shave November” to raise money for the Columbus Veterans Park Fund and raised $700. “As our ‘No Shave’ event comes to a close we are so thankful for the support of our friends that have made private donations to our event,” the department posted on their Facebook page. Officers also thanked Bull & Bear Barber Club of Campobello, S.C. which agreed to shave officers and get them back to their normal clean and professional appearance. (By Leah Justice.
