TRYON – Approximately 50 people gathered at FENCE to celebrate those who volunteered for the Tryon Riding & Hunt Club (TR&HC) during 2017. The Annual Volunteer Appreciation Event took place on Sunday, January 14.  

TRHC President, Drew Brannon, expressed appreciation for those who gave their time and efforts to help put on the club’s events such as the Blockhouse Steeplechase, The Any and All Dog Show and the annual Horse Trials. Brannon also mentioned the numerous volunteers who help on a daily basis with organization and running the office. Members and volunteers enjoyed wine and finger foods including beautiful horse head shaped cookies catered by Chris’ Personal Catering of Columbus.  

The TRHC has the following committees in need of volunteers for 2018: Carolinas Show Hunter Hall of Fame, Hospitality, Membership, Historical Preservation, Marketing, Governance and Finance.
