Saluda students visit Biltmore House

Fourth graders in Stephanie Uhrich’s class at Saluda Elementary recently had an opportunity to visit the Biltmore House in Asheville. A BIG grant from Tryon Fine Arts Center enabled the Saluda students to visit the house and learn more about the setting of the book, Serafina and the Black Cloak. After reading the book, the students will create puppets to act out scenes from the book. Uhrich’s class wishes to thank the Tryon Fine Arts Center for this great field trip.
