Step Back in History project for Historic Saluda Committee
Published 4:15 pm Thursday, January 4, 2018
The Historic Saluda Committee is pleased to announce a new program series called Step Back in History, which will feature programs pertaining to Saluda’s rich history or historic preservation.
The first program will be held on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. in the upstairs meeting room at the Saluda Public Library. This program will be a time to show and tell. Ever wondered what is in our archive room? Well, we’re going to show you! There’s a catch, though, since we are asking you to join in by bringing an interesting item that you possess representing Saluda’s history and then tell us what you know about it. Ideas of things to bring are documents, pictures, family heirlooms or any artifact you want to share with the group.
Be sure to join us for this free and interactive program. No item to share? No worries! Just come and have fun while learning about Saluda’s history. All ages are welcome and refreshments will be served. Additional programs will be offered throughout 2018. Stay tuned!
