Reward offered for recent Bright’s Creek larcenies

MILL SPRING-A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons who recently broke into a maintenance shed at Bright’s Creek and stole items, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said it is seeking the public’s help with any information about two incidences that occurred on Sept. 25 and Oct. 24 at the Bright’s Creek Golf Course maintenance shed.

The larcenies are believed to have taken place during the early morning hours.

A number of maintenance items were taken, according to sheriff reports, including Stihl weed eaters, chain saws, an electric chain saw, a Champion generator, an air compressor, drills, a miter saw, a pole saw as well as other items.

A $1,000 is being offered to anyone who has information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s).
