The Landrum Garden Club held their April meeting at Peggie Armstrong’s home. Armstrong had also prepared a Victorian tea party. Members were given tea from various countries along with the history of that particular tea. They learned about the health benefits of certain teas and the types of teas served at given times of the day. Scones and spreads were also served with notable background of their importance.
During the business meeting we addressed our on going projects. Phelecia Corpening and Faye Moore volunteered to replant the flower boxes at Operation Hope. Linda Cantrell and Jane Gay will address the needs of the flower beds at the Green Creek Community Center.
