The EQUUS Film Festival (EFF), an equestrian film festival, will be hitching up with the 2017 Tryon International Film Festival (TRIFF17) during their national tour stop schedule.
EFF will be working directly with TRIFF’s selection and programming committee for equestrian film submission into the 2017 film competition program.
EQUUS Film Festival is based at the City Cinemas – Village East Cinema in New York City.
Documentaries, shorts, commercials, music videos, training and educational films, along with art and literature are all part of their annual festival.
Founder, Lisa Diersen, and Diana DeRosa, EFF’s chief press officer, will be on hand all three days of TRIFF17, scheduled for Oct. 27-29. Diersen and DeRosa will also be guest speakers during the festival and key breakout sessions.
Adding to the expansion of TRIFF17’s footprint will be a major art exposition. Artists both local and international will share their works for sale and display.
A special note to all, neither EQUUS nor the Tryon International Film Festival are proponents of horse slaughter and Bureau of Land Management round-up. TRIFF17’s recently added equestrian category seeks only those films that consider the health, wellbeing, respect and honor of the horse.
