Polk County District Court results for Dec. 14

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, with Judge Peter Knight presiding, 124 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Carly Arryn Blekicki was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Blekicki was sentenced to 12 months probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Ervin Tony Bryant was convicted of possession of tobacco by inmate. Bryant was sentenced to one day in jail and court costs.
Gregory Thomas Bryant was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Bryant was fined $50 and court costs.
Feli Gallegos-Ramirez was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Gallegos-Ramirez was fined $20 and court costs.
Jonathon Clint Greene was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Greene was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Malcolm Dwayne Hannon was convicted of probation violation and failure to appear. Hannon was sentenced to 120 days in jail.
Tonya D. Hendricks was convicted of reckless driving to endanger and level five driving while impaired. Hendricks was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Ariann Brittany Hurst was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Hurst was fined $40.
Melissa Mae Laughter was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Laughter was fined $40 and court costs.
Keith Michael Lusk was convicted of breaking and or entering and larceny after break/enter. Lusk was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation and court costs.
Scott Lloyd Moore was convicted of felony larceny and obtaining property under false pretenses. Moore was sentenced to 36 months supervised probation, a $25 fine, $299 in restitution and court costs.
Starla Nicole Raines was convicted of three counts of misdemeanor larceny and driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Raines was sentenced to 20 days in jail and court costs.
Zachary Russell was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Russell was fined $40.
Denikka M. Simpson was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Simpson was sentenced to five days in jail with credit and court costs.
