Polk District Court results for Dec. 7

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, with Judge Robert K. Martelle presiding, 150 cases were heard. Some cases were dismissed, continued or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Jason Michael Jackson was convicted of failure to comply with community service. Jackson was sentenced to seven days in jail and court costs.

Kristine Paige Lewis was convicted of two counts of false report to police officer. Lewis was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.

Travis Dewayne Reynolds was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Reynolds was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 16 days.

Ashley Kris Whiteside was convicted of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance. Whiteside was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
