Polk County District Court results for Nov. 30

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 111 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent superior court.

Jaiwardhan Banthia was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Banthia was fined $50 and court costs.

Elijah S. Belardo was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Belardo was sentenced to one year supervised probation, two days in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.

James Donald Cash was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Cash was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Emilio F. Cianfoni was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Cianfoni was fined $40 and court costs.

Lesta Ellen Dunn was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Dunn was fined $40 and court costs.

Kenneth H. Giese was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Giese was fined $40 and court costs.

Vernave A. Gonzales was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Gonzales was to pay court costs.

Jose David Salaz Leon was convicted of no operator’s license. Leon was to pay court costs.

Michael Daniel Lewis was convicted operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Lewis was fined $40 and court costs.

Bernon Lewis Mills was convicted of two counts of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Mills was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served and court costs.

Mary Ann Patterson was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Patterson was fined $100.

Sergio Enrriques Paz was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Paz was to pay court costs.

Gabriella A. Pettineo was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Pettineo was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.

Gage Michael Puttick was convicted of consume alcohol by under 19 year old. Puttick was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

David Lewis Roberts was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Roberts was fined $10 and court costs.

William M. Simmons was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Simmons was fined $20 and court costs.

Amy Michell Sprinkles was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Sprinkles was sentenced to 42 days in jail with credit for time served.
