During the month of October 2016, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 677 calls for service.

There were 12 felony arrests, 23 misdemeanor arrests and 15 citations issued.

Officers completed 1,079 house checks, 3,291 business checks, 1,583 church checks, assisted the public 18 times, served 74 civil papers, served 23 criminal papers and patrolled 28,132 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked a total of 57 inmates, including 41 males and 16 females.
