During the month of September 2016, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 694 calls for service.

There were 15 felony arrests, 28 misdemeanor arrests and 27 citations issued.

Officers served 87 civil papers, 20 criminal papers, completed 1,044 house checks, 3,230 business checks, 1,460 church checks, assisted the public 13 times and patrolled 25,075 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked a total of 77 inmates, including 55 males and 22 females.
