Jasper Wood, 4, and others from the Sunny View Clubhouse, made cards to give to veterans at the memorial service in Veterans Park that followed the Patriots Salute to Veterans Parade through downtown Columbus Wednesday. Stanley Howell, 89, a WWII veteran who served in the 66th Infantry, 71st Division, 3rd Army in the European theater, accepted Jasper’s card that also included an American flag hatpin.
