Bulletin’s letters vitriolic lately

To the editor:
Over the years I have read various letters from individuals concerned about certain things in the community. And, rightfully so.
However, the letters that have been in the Bulletin recently are extremely vitriolic and hateful. Often, it appears that the writer has little knowledge as to why a decision was made, and there is seldom any contribution toward solving the problem.
Instead, a campaign of name-calling, threats and constant attacks on people’s integrity has been initiated. One woman even suggested throwing people out of a window. Isn’t that totally unjustified?
So much hatred just to influence people to vote a certain way. How sad.
