During the week of June 29-July 6, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 119 calls for service.

There were eight misdemeanor arrests, one felony arrest, five citations issued, 11 civil papers served and eight criminal papers served.

Officers completed 163 house checks, 384 business checks, 211 church checks, assisted the public three times and patrolled 4,157 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked a total of 31 inmates, including 24 males and seven females.
