Karen Molnar will play a selection for bassoon, “Elégie, op. 1” by Edouard Flament for the Foothills Music Club, Inc. concert on March 12. She will be accompanied by organist, Susie Mahnke.

Molnar is a member of the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra and also frequently plays with the Brevard Philharmonic Orchestra.

Mahnke, organist and choir director at Tryon Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross, will also play an organ pedal solo from “Trois Esquisses pour orgue” by Denis Bédard.

The concert is scheduled for Thursday, March 12, at 3 p.m. at the Tryon Congregational Church. The public is invited to attend.
