The area had just come out from under frigid temperatures and a layer of ice, returning to school and work, when another round of snow arrived Tuesday morning in the early hours. Polk County Schools and Spartanburg District One Schools closed for the day. Today’s forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of rain/snow during the day, increasing to 80 percent chance of accumulation of three to seven inches tonight. (Photo by Claire Sachse)
