Music in Landrum presents a weekend musical extravaganza, with a very quiet auction, a reception of Cape Cod favorites, and of course, chocolate pianos!

On Jan. 17 at 4 p.m., the Grand Finale of the Grand Tour with Christopher Tavernier will feature Christopher performing on a nine foot Steinway Concert Grand. He will take us on a musical journey from Bach, through Chopin, Liszt, Debussy and Prokofiev.

On Jan. 18 at 3 p.m., Eun Sun Lee on violin and Fabio Parrini will perform chamber classics in a gorgeous program of Handel, Beethoven, Chopin, Gluck-Kreisler and Elgar’s Salut d’Amour.

Our very quiet auction features Comerford heirlooms which are being shipped to Skinner Auction House in Boston. Proceeds will benefit a new partnership between Music in Landrum and the Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra. During the 2015-2016 season, four large chamber ensembles from SPO will be performing in Landrum. Anyone who wishes to purchase any of the heirlooms at the low auction estimate can request a price list from Whitney Blake at either performance.

In celebration of the Comerford support of Music in Landrum, our reception will feature Cape Cod favorites including mini lobster pies, New England clam chowder, Indian pudding and much more.

Join us for an extravagant musical weekend at Landrum Presbyterian Church. Free and open to all.
