First Citizens Bank is one of more than 30 contestants in the Landrum Area Business Association’s annual scarecrow contest launched this week. Ballots are available
at participating businesses and may be put in the drop boxes at the two city kiosks, one in front of the Hare and Hound and the other in front of Elaine’s Attic, across from the hardware store. Landrum area schools are also competing and their scarecrows are located together at the depot. A winner will be announced on
