PCHS soccer team gives back

Throughout this past spring season, the Polk County High School women’s soccer teams worked to raise funds to purchase soccer balls for kids living in poverty through World Vision. They had raised awareness by having information on the players’ warm-up shirts and had donation jars placed in different locations within the community. Through their efforts, the players were able to raise $672, which will be used to purchase 84 soccer balls for children who, in many cases, have never played with a real soccer ball before. If you would like to help with this effort, please visit www.worldvision.org to make a donation online.
