The children from the South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind were the focal point at a Charity Event held March 31, 2014 at Speigel Farms to benefit the Walker Foundation at the School.
The successful event was planned by Helen Gilbert and Joy Johnson.
A group of 12 students from the school sang two songs and there was hardly a dry eye in the audience.
The positive attitudes that the teachers and staff instill in these precious children is that they can do anything, regardless of their handicaps.
It was a resounding success with a luncheon, fashion show by PJ’s of Landrum and the sale of artwork created by the children at the school.
