Polk County District Court results held March 19, 2014

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, with Judge Pete Knight presiding 215 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Stacey Bradley was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation out of county. Bradley’s probation was terminated.
Gerardo Flore Carbajal was convicted of no operator’s license. Carbajal was fined $50 and court costs.
Susan Elizabeth Christian was convicted of speeding 91 mph in a 55 mph zone and unsafe movement. Christian was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $95 fine and court costs.
John Andrew Dais Jr. was convicted of speeding 64 mph in a 55 mph zone. Dais was fined $30 and court costs.
Cassandra Lynn Dejesus was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Dejesus was fined $90 and court costs.
Frankie Levon Fisher was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Fisher was fined $30 and court costs.
James Alan Gallgher was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Gallgher was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs for possession of drug paraphernalia and fined $30 and court costs for speeding.
Amanda Victoria Greer was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Greer was fined $50 and court costs.
Andrew Benjamin Hamilton was convicted of two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Hamilton was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $150 fine and court costs.
Miroslav N. Lavernyuk was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Lavernyuk was to pay court costs.
Sergio Lemuz Jr. was convicted of unsafe movement. Lemuz was fined $90 and court costs.
Corrie A. McGinnis was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. McGinnis was fined $30 and court costs.
AlmaYesenia Montes was convicted of no operator’s license. Montes was fined $25 and court costs.
McKayla Ashley Mullis was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Mullis was fined $100 and court costs.
Justin M. Noppert was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Noppert was fined $100 and court costs.
Annette Cates Sain was convicted of open container after consumption of alcohol first. Sain was fined $25 and court costs.
Trenton Oneal Sweatman was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Sweatman was fined $40 and court costs.
Nikolai Vasil Tanasov was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Tanasov was fined $30 and court costs.
Robert Joseph Valerio was convicted of assault on a female. Valerio was sentenced to 17 days in jail with credit for time served.
Jacob Tyler Waldo was convicted of speeding 91 mph in a 55 mph zone and unsafe movement. Waldo was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $95 fine and court costs.
Dwight Michael Ward was convicted of felony probation violation. Ward’s probation was terminated successfully.
Mark J. Warner was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Warner was fined $100 and court costs.
Jeffrey Howard White was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. White was fined $100 and court costs.
