Polk County district court results for January 8

In Polk County District Court Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 174 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Nicholas Baker was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Baker was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $20 fine and court costs.
William C. Barger was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Barger was fined $87 and court costs.
Jacob Gerald Bieze was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Bieze was fined $30 and court costs.
Robert Scott Blanton was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Blanton was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served.
Michael Francis Butler was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Butler was fined $40 and court costs.
Ronald Edward Campbell was convicted of level 1 driving while impaired and driving while license revoked. Campbell was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 72 hours of community service, 30 days in jail, a $500 fine and court costs.
Brittany M. Clemmons was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Clemmons was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Joseph Lee Criswell was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Criswell was fined $90 and court costs.
Jeremy Allen Duncan was convicted of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Duncan was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 30 days in jail and court costs.
Patrick J. Fitzgerald was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Fitzgerald was fined $91 and court costs.
Ali Hussein Hajji was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Hajji was fined $40 and court costs.
Yashonda Nicole Hall was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Hall was fined $40 and court costs.
Chad Richard Jackson was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor probation violation and one count of felony probation violation. Jackson was sentenced to 90 days in jail.
Mark Engle Jennings was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Jennings was fined $40 and court costs.
Nicholas Wesley Jolley was convicted of second degree trespassing. Jolley was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Talisha M. Joyner was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Joyner was fined $28 and court costs.
Michael C. Kirkland was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Kirkland was fined $25 and court costs.
Kirsten Nicole LaChance was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. LaChance was fined $91 and court costs.
Vincent Jose Macdonald was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Macdonald was fined $30 and court costs.
Austin Blaine Mangel was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Mangel was fined $40 and court costs.
Shane Kastn Massengale was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Massengale was sentenced to 20 days in jail.
Phillip Michael Messer was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Messer was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Scott William Pelfrey was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Pelfrey was fined $25 and court costs.
Marshall Alan Pye was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation out of county and simple possession of schedule II controlled substance. Pye was sentenced to 45 days in jail.
Curtis J. Reddington was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Reddington was fined $30 and court costs.
Thomas Greg Robertson was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Robertson was fined $25 and court costs.
Ashley Nicole Rose was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Rose was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $25 fine and court costs.
Terry Levi Smith was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Smith was fined $50 and court costs.
Thomas Tatum Traywick was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone and unsealed wine/liquor in passenger area. Traywick was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Richard William Werhan was convicted of three counts of worthless check simple. Werhan was convicted of 60 days in jail.
Ohmar Win was convicted of speeding 34 mph in a 25 mph zone. Win was fined $75 and court costs.
