Kids and their family swarmed the Landrum Library Oct. 1 for the Touch a Truck event where they got to experience big trucks and machinery used in emergencies, on farms and for large-scale construction projects.

While some kids held back, others climbed right on the machines and begged to hear the loud horns once more.
