Labor Day celebration

To the editor:
Moving here in 2008 from a large congested area, I have really grown to love small town life. Every year since we arrived in Columbus, my family has looked forward to the Christmas parade and the 4th of July celebration put on by the town staff and other community members.
Even though this year, the 4th of July was a wash out, the town committee and town clerk Devon LaFromboise was determined to have a celebration on Labor Day.
I am writing this letter to make note of everyone who was involved in making the day a success, the fireworks spectacular and for working so hard to keep that small town spirit alive.
