The Pea Ridge gathering set for Thursday, Aug. 8 will consist of a covered dish dinner and an “Imaginary Breakfast” fund raiser.

If someone in the community would like to participate at 6:30 p.m. at the community center, they should bring their favorite entrée, casserole or salad as well as dessert and beverage. Paperware and ice will be furnished. Note change of time to 6:30 p.m.

In an effort to raise funds for ongoing repairs, scholarship fund, etc., an “Imaginary Breakfast” will be held at this meeting.  Remember to bring your purse or wallet which will replace your usual donations of breakfast food items, your time and the energy required to put on the typical “world famous breakfast” as in the past.

Speaker of the evening will be local stained glass crafter Anita Richardson telling about “Enjoying Life in Pea Ridge.” Richardson has lived in the community many years and is in love with the area.
