Saluda Elementary students have been studying heart health in celebration of Heart Health Month. During PE classes students learned about heart health and raised money for the American Heart Association by doing Jump Rope for Heart. Students also listened to their hearts with stethoscopes provided by the American Heart Association. Teacher assistant Charley Thompson helps Claire Thompson and Maggie McCammon listen to each other’s hearts. (photos and article submitted by Kathy Angier)
