The Book Shelf will welcome new author Linda Martin, a native of Polk County, with a book release party Saturday, March 24 from 1-3 p.m.
The event will celebrate the release of Martin’s new book, “The Summer of the Rabbits.”
Martin will read her book for kids and they can meet illustrator Alice Feagan who will give a drawing demonstration.
There will also be juice and cookies available.
Two library readings will also be held next week. One will be March 27 at 10:30 a.m. at the Polk County Library and another March 30 at 10:30 a.m. at the Saluda library.
