Rotary Club of Tryon President Gorden Threlfall recently recognized Rotarians Jay Geddings and Jim Scott for their outstanding contributions to the club. In presenting each with a Rotary Gold Star, Threlfall noted their many contributions to the club and community. Geddings serves as a club director and has been instrumental in making many improvements to the operation of the club. Scott, a former Rotary assistant district governor, has brought the “Fabulous Fourth Bicycle Tour” to the club. The event is held each year on July 4th and is expected to be a strong source of funding for Rotary projects.
