The American Legion and the Legion Auxiliary will hold a joint meeting and the Christmas party Tuesday night, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m.
The men will furnish barbecue and drinks and the ladies will bring side dishes and desserts.
The group will also be collecting socks, toothpaste, brushes, soaps, Kleenex and similar items to distribute to the veterans in the local nursing homes. The items should not be wrapped.
All members and spouses are welcome.
