My gal can’t carry a tune in a bucket

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Dear Aunty Pam,
I’ve been dating this gal, Edie, for about six months now, and I really like her. We’re both late middle age, and we seem to have a lot in common. I guess no relationship is perfect, but ours almost is, with the exception that whenever we’re in the car with the radio on, Edie likes to sing along with every song. The problem is that Edie can’t carry a tune in a bucket. I mean, she’d make a hound dog howl if it heard her. What’s worse is that she sings at the top of her lungs.
Not only do I not get to enjoy my George Jones and Conway Twitty, but I end up with a headache anywhere we go. How do I get her to stop? I don’t want to hurt her feelings.
Signed,
Russell M
Dear Russell,
It’s a little naughty, but since you can’t disconnect Edie, it’s relatively easy to disconnect Bluetooth in your car or truck. And if you drive a later model without Bluetooth, get a bent coat hanger to release the radio from the dash. Once the radio is loose, you can then disconnect the wiring harness and antenna connection in the back.
Not as simple as removing a fuse, but pretty valuable to stop you from blowing yours. And gee, since the radio all of a sudden isn’t working, I guess you’ll just have to hold hands and chat, instead!
Peace be with you.
Cheers, dears!!
Aunty Pam
