LANDRUM—Beginning Saturday, June 21, the City of Landrum will hold its free annual Music at the Market concert series. Performances will take place on select Saturdays from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Cunningham Market Pavilion through November 8.
The concert series will feature multiple local country, folk, and rock ‘n roll bands, including Polk County’s own Silver Travis Band. The opening band, Remember Me, is a country music tribute band founded in honor of Willie Nelson.
In addition to Remember Me on June 21 and Silver Travis Band on July 12, the series will include performances by Rock ‘N Roll Reunion on July 26, Moore Junction Band on August 9, and Borderline Therapy on August 23. In the fall, Retro 78 will perform on October 4, followed by Back 9 Band on October 11, Misdemeanor on October 18, and Soulified 7 on November 11.
The City of Landrum encourages visitors to bring their friends, family, and folding chairs out to enjoy the summer nights, local food, and good music.
