LANDRUM—Last week, Lieutenant Flynn and Fire Marshal Price of Landrum Fire and Rescue led fire extinguisher and first aid/CPR training for the summer camp staff at Landrum First Baptist Church. The team at Landrum Fire and Rescue looks forward to the next group of trainees with whom they can share their wealth of safety knowledge.
“Having a basic understanding of how to use a fire extinguisher and how to perform CPR can save lives in an emergency,” said Price. “Whether it’s a fire, a medical incident, or another unexpected situation, knowing how to respond quickly and correctly can make all the difference before first responders arrive.”
Landrum Fire and Rescue is offering to help local businesses, organizations, and staff members who may benefit from fire extinguisher or first aid/CPR training.
