COLUMBUS—Gibson Pool, located at 236 Park Street in Columbus, is almost ready to open in Polk County. The pool is scheduled to open the first week of June.

Here are some important notes about the pool:

• Lap Swim 

7 – 9 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 – 10 a.m. on Fridays

• Open/Family Swim

Monday and Wednesday: 2 – 5 p.m.

Tuesday and Thursday: 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Friday: 2 – 6 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Sunday: 1 – 5 p.m.

Also, pool rental is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m. for $180, which includes lifeguards. Contact abrazell@spartanburgymca.org to reserve, as spots fill up fast.
