TRYON—Kevin Burke of Carolina Nature Tours will lead the Spring Bird Walk on Thursday, May 15, beginning at 8 a.m. at Foothills Equestrian Nature Center.

The event will be an easy and enjoyable morning bird walk, offering an opportunity to explore the fields and trails at FENCE, all while potentially encountering many species of birds, including the Indigo Bunting, the Eastern Meadowlark, and various warbler species. Organizers remind attendees to dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring water and binoculars if available.

This event is free and open to bird watchers of all levels. FENCE expresses its gratitude to The Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation for making the event possible. FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road in Tryon.
