CAMPOBELLO—On Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Town of Campobello will host its annual Family Fun Day at Gib Gosnell Park, located at 117 Lanford St., featuring a variety of attractions for families and friends to enjoy.

This year’s festivities will showcase over 60 area vendors, including food vendors offering BBQ, boiled peanuts, burgers, lobster rolls, and more.

“The Family Fun Day has become a cherished tradition for our community,” said Town Council Member Alician Sprouse. “We started it after COVID as a way to help reintroduce people to each other. It’s a great opportunity for our amazing local artisans to showcase their talents.”

Families can also look forward to an enjoyable experience featuring activities for children, including a bouncy house and a petting zoo, both of which are free.

In addition to the fun and festivities, the Town of Campobello is proud to support local youth by offering two $1,000 scholarships for future education aimed at high school seniors and others looking to return to school. These scholarships are made possible through vendor fees and generous contributions from the Campobello Ladies Auxiliary and the Country Peddler Antiques & General Store.

“Family Fun Day has become just like a family reunion,” Sprouse added. “Truly a day of fun, food, and fellowship that we look forward to every year.”
