TRYON—The Tryon Downtown Development Association and the Carolina Chamber of Commerce are set to host a ribbon-cutting and grand opening for Missi & Co. and Fortunate Finds at 75 S. Trade Street on Friday, May 2, at 11:30 a.m., where both establishments will be housed together.
Missi & Co., a luxury interior design firm with studios in Nokomis, Florida, and Tryon, specializes in full-service new construction and comprehensive renovation projects. The company prides itself on tailoring each design to reflect the personal style and preferences of its clients. The goal is to create homes that are both elegant and comfortable, providing spaces where homeowners can truly unwind and appreciate their surroundings.
In conjunction with the interior design services, the grand opening will also unveil Fortunate Finds, an antiques and art gallery that promises to enhance the artistic landscape of Tryon and its surrounding areas. Under the leadership of Missi Youngblood, the gallery will showcase a carefully curated collection of antiques and distinctive artwork sourced from talented artists across the nation.
“I grew up spending summers always around Tryon and Saluda, so it feels like a natural fit to be here and add to the community,” Youngblood said.
The grand opening event offers residents and visitors the opportunity to explore the newly renovated building, both Missi & Co. and Fortunate Finds.
“We can’t wait for everyone to see our antiques, art and tabletop accessories,” Youngblood added. “As a full-service interior design studio, we are looking forward to helping our customers design and refurbish their homes.”
The grand opening represents a celebration of creativity and a commitment to enhancing the cultural and aesthetic experience for everyone in the Tryon area.
