TRYON—Christine Mariotti will feature an exhibit of her personal artwork at the end of March at the Tryon Depot. The exhibit will showcase many of her works on Friday, March 28, and Saturday, March 29.

Christine is a former art teacher who relocated to Tryon several years ago from California and has continued her instruction through various classes at the Tryon Painters Gallery and Tryon Arts and Crafts. Formerly, she was known as a silk painter for much of her career, but due to lack of space and materials, she has focused on paintings in watercolor and acrylic for the last decade.  The paintings featured at the upcoming show will highlight her many years as a painter and are offered at reasonable prices.

Additionally, a special presentation by Ernie Mills of his tribute to Mark Twain will be held at the Depot at 6:30 pm on March 28. Refreshments will be served from 3 to 6 pm both days.
