CHILLY WEATHER, HOT TUNES: The Caribbean Cowboys Band to perform at FENCE

TRYON—Foothills Equestrian Nature Center will kick off the new year with a performance that will have attendees dreaming about toes in the sand and ocean waves crashing in the distance.

On Sunday, January 26, The Caribbean Cowboys Band will heat up the FENCE stage, showcasing a variety of musical styles, including rhythm and blues, reggae, beach tunes, country, classical and more.

The group has been entertaining audiences for over 34 years, primarily in western North Carolina. It has also performed in Key West, New York City, and the British Virgin Islands.

With influences ranging from Jimmy Buffet to Frank Sinatra, the CCB plays familiar tunes while creating their own spin on popular songs that audiences have been listening to for generations.

The band has garnered many awards and accomplishments over the years, including being named Most Popular Rock Band by Asheville Citizen-Times in 1995 and Best Local Band by Mountain Xpress Readers Survey participants in 1999, 2000, and 2001. The group is a proud member of the Salt Water Independent Music Association.

The concert will take place in the Great Room and is set to begin at 4 p.m. It will be free to the public. 

FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting County Rd. in Tryon.
