COLUMBUS—Isothermal Community College invites the community to a joyful Holiday Season Celebration on Monday, December 16, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Polk County Campus. This festive gathering will feature fun activities for families and children of all ages.
Attendees can look forward to writing Letters to Santa, engaging in crafts, and enjoying heartwarming holiday stories. A special highlight of the event will be a visit from Santa Claus, who will be making his appearance at 5:15 p.m. Families are encouraged to take festive holiday pictures together during this magical time.
The event will also feature a free coat giveaway, as coats and jackets in assorted sizes will be available for children while supplies last. The college is also urging attendees to help “Share the Love & Warmth” by bringing donations of new gloves, warm hats, stuffed animals, art supplies, books, and games. These donations will go to children in the region impacted by Hurricane Helene, and all items will be distributed to a local non-profit organization.
The Holiday Season Celebration will take place in the Main Lobby of the ICC-Polk Campus, offering delicious hot chocolate and cookies as part of the festivities. This event is not just a chance to celebrate the holiday spirit but also an opportunity to give back to the community during a time of need.
