FOOTHILLS—With Halloween right around the corner, many fun and fright-filled events are set to take place in the Foothills. From dance parties to costume contests to pumpkin carvings, there will be something that ghouls and goblins of every age can enjoy.

Kicking things off on Friday, October 25, downtown Saluda will transform into downtown “Spook-ya” with a variety of activities. The Halloween stroll begins at 4:30 p.m. and concludes at 6, where little monsters can collect treats, run around McCreery Park, and enjoy the downtown vibe. Additionally, Back Alley Barn will host a Halloween party on Saturday, October 26, with creative costumes and live music from Take 3.

Also, on October 26, the Landrum Halloween Stroll and Fall Festival will take place on North Trade Avenue from 5 to 7 p.m. The popular annual event will feature many opportunities for trick-or-treaters to fill up on candy, partake in fun games and activities, and participate in a costume contest set for 6 p.m. on stage next to Hare and Hound Pub. Halloween Bingo will also be held at Landrum Depot on Thursday, October 24.
