The popular dog show, created to celebrate man’s (and woman’s) best friend and their cherished owners, gives the community a chance to gather for a day of play while bonding with their favorite pets and showing off what makes their furry companion truly special.

The free-to-attend event will take place at the Harmon Field Basketball Pavillion. Those interested in competing in the dog show can register for $1 per class. All dogs, regardless of breed, size, or age, are welcome to take part in the show. Dog show registration is also available online at tryonridingandhuntclub.com.

The dogs will compete in classes such as Best in Show, Biggest Dog, Smallest Dog, Best Trick, Best Costume, Dog that Looks Most Like its Owner, and Best Rescue Dog.

“The Any and All Dog Show has become one of our favorite events of the year,” says TR&HC Executive Director Leigh Borreson. “We invite dog lovers and their four-legged friends to enjoy an afternoon of playful competition, all in the name of charity.”

Dina Zaphiris will return with her magical Border Collie, Gizmo, as a highlight of this year’s show with a sure-to-be-incredible performance. The duo, who attended the show last year, is thrilled to be a part of it once again.

Purrfect Bark will provide ‘doggie goodie’ bags and special ribbons for the winners of each class.

Additionally, the Any and All Dog Show will include face painting, food trucks and giveaways, making it a perfect outing for families with children of all ages.

“As one of the longest-running events of its kind, the Any and All Dog Show is more than just a competition,” says TR&HC board member and event organizer Nancy Z. Wilson. “It’s a cherished tradition celebrating the bond between humans and their canine companions.”

The Any and All Dog Show will be held on Sunday, November 3, from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Harmon Field Basketball Pavilion, located at 117 Harmon Field Rd. in Tryon.
