Nurse Practitioner Lisa Reece has set up a temporary medical station in the plaza across from the truck stop in Saluda, offering free medical care to anyone in need.

The makeshift clinic, organized by Reece, is a beacon of hope for residents struggling to access medical care.

Chemily Russel, who helped organize the supply drop, posted about Reece on her Facebook page.

“I am now working with Nurse Practitioner Lisa Reece, she is at the Saluda Family Medical center,” Russel wrote. “She said she is seeing anyone that needs medical attention, no charge! She will be sending people our way as well. I am still waiting to hear about the helicopter and supplies, but praying that is going to happen. I love my community! We will get through this!!”
